I've been to Salzburg, Austria - where Mozart was born.

I visited the places where he played and lived.

His music in all forms, I find compelling.

These past few years - I've transcribed this piece of his,

scored for 12 winds and string bass . . . for solo piano.

The piece was probably composed in 1781 or 1782

when he was 25 years old, and is often known by the subtitle

"Gran Partita". (wiki)

Now I have to learn it . . and record it.

I love the tempo, melody and chord motion.

Serenade No 10 in Bb K361 III Adagio
