I developed a Fugue section from a Marimba/Vibe Duet I wrote years ago to create this. Arranged here for Marimba, Celesta, and String Quartet with Bass. Lots of moving parts. Images are always in my head when I'm composing or arranging. Like these.

So I made a clip.

I teach my students how to write to picture, and vice versa - how to edit picture to music.

I use examples like this to show my process.
